LOCATION
3 km on a paved road for easy bicycle trip or walking to the pleasant town of Fasano for all shopping needs. 20 minutes by car to the Adriatic Sea beaches and 45-55 minutes to the airports, Bari in the north and Brindisi in the south. The coastal motorway is easy accessible.The main town Fasano, with 20 000 inhabitants, has an excellent supply for all shopping needs and here you find pharmacies, banks, cafe, bars, restaurants, hairdressers, excellent shops for men and ladies. There are half a dozen butchers, fishmongers and more than 15 small fruit & vegetable shops, including mini markets in many corners. There is also a lively main street market every Wednesday morning.
The distance to the nearest beaches is about 8 km downhill to Capitolo by the sea, famous for its many beach clubs, restaurants and night clubs in summertime. Five minutes to the south is Savelletri, a small charming fishing village. GETTING THERE
By air there is a choice of two international airports, served by Ryanair, Easyjet , BA and others, both easily reached within the hour; Bari in the north and Brindisi in the south. Both cities have ferry traffic to Greece, Albania and Croatia so it’s possible to make weekend trips across the Adriatic Sea.
