Overview
The house was built in the late 18th Century, on rock with terraces above the property, which includes about 3 hectares (ha) of land. It is located at the edge of the village of Roccasecca which is however only to be viewed from the north-west and overlooked by only 2 rooms. The eastern side overlooks Mount Cairo that exceeds 1600 m and the south offers a view of Mount Asprano and the ruins of the castle of St. Thomas Aquinas. The village center is about 500 meters and is easily accessible on foot. The center of the Roccasecca Alta has all the basic necessities: shopping, doctor and pharmacy, a restaurant and several bars.

Utilities
The house was purchased by the present owners in 2003 and they have completely renovated it without altering the typical characteristics. All the utilities have been certified and conform to all building regulation the electrical system has been regularly checked as required by law. The heating system includes a boiler for each floor so as not to incur unnecessary consumption and is fueled with natural gas from the mains. The drains are connected to the communal sewerage system. There is a cistern reserve of 10,000 liters of drinking water to deal with any interruption in supply There is also a well usable for irrigation.

Property Description
The lower ground floor is the kitchen that has all the professional equipment, a room (reduced height) is used both as an office and as a pantry, a hall, 3 lounges, one with fireplace and a bathroom (toilet and sink), the terrace which gives access to the house in three places and is used to eat outside during the summer and is equipped with chairs and tables.

The Ground floor has two entrances, the hall is used as a sitting room with bookcases and reading chairs for reading, has 4 bedrooms, 2 double (twin), 1 bedroom, a large room usually used to accommodate families with children (bed bunk-bed and armchairs) and a cleaners closet.

The First floor has five bedrooms, two doubles, a master bedroom, one large room with balcony and a smaller room that can be used as single or double if necessary. All rooms have a private bathroom with washbasin with mirror, toilet, bidet and shower. The bedrooms (except the 2 large) all have a view two beds that can be joined or a double bed, a wardrobe, a table, chairs and tables in some cases. A large room has in addition also a bunk bed while the other two sofa beds.

The top floor was used as an apartment, it has 3 rooms with attic ceilings, a bathroom and a large bedroom with bathroom with Jacuzzi and access to panoramic terrace.

The house measures about 500 square meters

Bathroom accessories and all the lamps in the house are of hand-painted ceramic.

The furniture, doors and windows were made to measure by craftsmen.
All windows have mosquito nets. The ground floor is tiled with terracotta elsewhere Parquet floors, some walls have exposed stone work ‘a vista’ and there are two arches, tables and chairs for 40 people.

Land 3ha
Divided into terraces and fractionated as shown by cadastral maps, there are olive trees, fruit trees and woods, on the flatter terraces used by us for the cultivation of vegetables. Children’s playground in wood, a car park, accessed from the public road through a private road .
