Along the main street in Savelletri, you find grocery stores, a pharmacy and cafes. By the harbour is the sea road with ten restaurants, bars/cafes, a fishmonger and the local church. There is boat hire as well as fishing trips. There are bicycle rentals in Fasano, and you can go on bicycle trips in the olive groves from nearby Montalbano. There is a very long walkway along the massive water pipeline running through Apulia, and perfect for hikes or mountain biking.
The Fasano train station is 5 minutes away, and easy to take the train to Bari for shopping or to Lecce – the Florence of the south. There are about 35 train departures per day from around 05.00 to 23.00The apartment is at the northern, quiet end of Savelletri with its nice range of restaurants, cafes and bars, small groceries, butchers and fruit stands.
