Ecological Earth/Straw House built with a permit in 2012 based on the Flexagone association’s concept. Construction was overseen by an architect and a team of three project managers, with the help of volunteers, using ecological materials such as straw, grass, earth, and hemp. This 74sqm detached house, shaped like the prow of a boat (six sides), features a 20sqm terrace, a 15sqm converted outbuilding, and a 25sqm workshop, all situated on a 2210sqm plot of land. The property includes a 35sqm spring-fed reservoir and rare species such as tulip trees, Timut/Sichuan pepper trees, and fruit trees. The house comprises a 54sqm loft-style ground floor with a 20sqm mezzanine bedroom.
